ABOUT ME

I am a former House Music producer that found my way to UX and Interaction Design at the turn of the millennium, based on my curiosity in finding out how different studio tools and approaches influenced my musical creation process. My view on UX & Service design

Some of my convictions & perspective on my work as a designer & researcher

Build the right thing and bring value to both users and business

For me my work is not only about UX & Service design. It is also about identifying the right things to build and finding untapped opportunities for providing value to businesses, at the same time bringing users delight and good experiences.

The value of UX derives from
user & context research

UX without research is not UX. Most important is doing exploratory research as it brings understanding about the context and which outcomes that are important to achieve for whom. Evaluative research is not enough as it is focused on identifying issues for solutions that already has been decided on.

Beware of bias & tendency to
jump to conclusions

Biases affect decision making, whether you want it or not. The only way to fight it is to be humble towards your own and others biases. Use the five Why’s or similar methods, keep fidelity in your proposals low as long as possible and beware of your own and others tendency to jump to premature conclusions.
